Repair Procedures: Replacement

NOTE:

When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

Remove the plug hole (A).

Remove the wiper arm (A) by removing the mounting nuts.
Tightening torque:

22.6 - 26.5 N.m (2.3 - 2.7 Kgf.m, 16.6 - 19.5 lb.ft)

Remove the cowl top cover (A) by removing the clips

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
