Repair Procedures: Replacement
NOTE:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Remove the plug hole (A).
- Remove the wiper arm (A) by removing the mounting nuts.
Tightening torque:
22.6 - 26.5 N.m (2.3 - 2.7 Kgf.m, 16.6 - 19.5 lb.ft)
- Remove the cowl top cover (A) by removing the clips
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
