Removal And Installation

  1. Loosen the drain plug, and drain the coolant.

    (Refer to Cooling System - "COOLANT ")

  2. Remove the cooling fan.

    (Refer to Cooling System - "COOLING FAN ")

  3. Disconnect the radiator upper hose (A).

  4. Disconnect the radiator lower hose (A).

  5. Remove the front bumper assembly.

    (Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY ")

  6. Remove the intercooler.

    (Refer to Intake and Exhaust System - "INTERCOOLER ")

  7. Remove the radiator air guard (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)

  8. Remove the radiator upper mounting bracket (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    7.8 - 11.8 Nm (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)

  9. Separate the condenser from the radiator.
  10. Pull the radiator (A) upward and remove it from engine room.

  11. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  12. Fill the radiator with coolant.

    (Refer to cooling system - "COOLANT ")

  13. Start engine and check for leaks.
  14. Recheck engine coolant level.
