CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT INSPECTION CONDITION

Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component. Ignition "ON".	CKPS connector	3 (power)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 5V
	CKPS connector	2 (signal)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 4.8V
Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.	CKPS connector	1 (ground)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. below 1Ω
	CKPS connector	2 (signal)	Chassis ground	-	∞ (infinity)Ω

Good

Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.

No Good

Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
