DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CKP signal is 0V while camshaft rotation detected
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open or short in signal circuit
  • CKPS
Enable Conditions
  • CMPS error (P034100/P036600/P034000/P036500)
  • Vehicle speed is between 1 and 25.75 km/h (0.6 and 16 mph)
  • Engine speed is less than 400RPM
  • No error on vehicle speed
  • No disabling faults present (CMPS error)
  • No engine reverse rotation
Threshold Value
  • Counter of no CKP signal per camshaft revolution is greater than 6 times
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
