DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality check, low side (under boost)
  • Inspect air cleaner
  • Intake side leakage
  • Intake side blocked
  • Waste gate valve
  • RCV control solenoid valve
  • Faulty BPS
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is greater than 2, 520 to 2, 800RPM
  • Barometric pressure is greater than 74.5 kPa
  • Difference between target boost pressure and natural boost pressure is greater than 30 kPa
Threshold Value
  • Difference between actual boost pressure and target boost pressure is less than -20 kPa
Diagnostic Time
  • 3s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
