DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN communication with TCM status check
  • Poor connector connection or damaged harness
  • Faulty ECM
  • Faulty TCM
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is greater than 10.8V
  • Time after engine start is greater than 1s
Threshold Value
  • Duration of communication lost with TCM is over 2s
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
