Detecting Condition |
Possible Cause |
| DTC Strategy |
- Check FTP with CCV closed and PCSV open
|
- Fuel filler cap missing
- Leakage in each hose, fuel filler pipe
- Leakage in CCV, canister, fuel tank
|
| Enable Conditions |
- Canister close valve commanded is close
- Purge control solenoid valve commanded is open
- Common conditions for EVAP monitoring
- Engine coolant temperature at start is between 3.8 and 40°C (38.84 and 104°F)
- Remark: (common conditions for EVAP monitoring)
- Ambient air temperature is between 0 and 42°C (0 and 107.6°F)
- Barometric pressure is greater than 74.5 kPa
- Fuel level is between 15 and 85%
- Purge active time is greater than 15s
- Fuel system status is closed loop - Accelerator pedal is 0%
- Vehicle speed is 0 km/h (0 mph)
- Manifold absolute pressure/barometric pressure is less than 0.8
- Refueling (fuel tank pressure is greater than 300Pa and filtered delta fuel tank pressure is greater than 50Pa) is not detected
- No disabling faults present
- Time after engine start is greater than 0s
|
| Threshold Value |
- Change amount of fuel tank pressure from reference is greater than -2.5 kPa
