Repair Procedures: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
    NOTE:
    • Check the following procedures before installing the gear actuator assembly.

    1. Check that the gear actuator is placed in the "neutral" state.
    2. Check the assembled state of the O-rings (A).

    3. Apply gear oil to the surface of O-rings (A).
    4. Check the assembled state of the dowel pins (A).

    5. Check the assembled state of the air breather (A).

  2. Perform the DCT learning procedure using the KDS after replacing the gear actuator assembly.
    NOTE:
    • Perform the DCT learning procedure only if reinstalling the transmission after replacing the gear actuator from the removed transmission. (DCT learning is not required if actuator is replaced without removing the transmission.)
    • Before performing the DCT learning procedure using KDS, perform the learning process after leaving for 5 minutes in the idle state. Because it may cause a problem to operation of wear compensation device when entering the DCT learning function at battery low voltage condition.
    • When performing the DCT learning function, Perform the DCT learning function twice for ensure accuracy and reliability of the clutch touch point.
