DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check the voltage
  • Poor connection
  • SML circuit is open or short to battery/ground
  • Faulty SML
  • Faulty mood lamp unit

Threshold Value
  • Diagnosis by voltage difference through controller in/out control (wire voltage is higher than 3.25V: normal, lower than 1.75V: not concluded)
Symptom
  • SML is not lit
