DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN Message Monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty CAN communication circuit
  • Faulty TCM
Threshold Value
  • TCM (Gear position, etc.) message is not received for more than 500 ms within normal voltage condition
  • The fault is not checked for 2s after ignition "ON"
  • The fault is not checked if CAN BUS OFF is present.
Fail Safe
  • DAR/Dynamic Braking (ESC) inhibited
Warning Lamp
  • Warning Lamp "ON"
Clear Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
