DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • When the motor driving is continued for 12s at apply
  • When the motor driving is continued for 7s at release
  • The detection time of motor timeout is increased in diagnosis mode
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty CAN communication circuit
  • Faulty TCM
Threshold Value
  • The TCU1 or TCU5 message is not received during 500 ms
  • The fault is not checked during 2s after ignition turns on
  • The fault is not checked if CAN bus off fault is detected
Warning Lamp
  • Warning Lamp "ON"
Clear Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
