Monitor DTC Status

Ignition "ON".	Connect KDS to Data Link Connector (DLC). Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" with KDS. Click the DTC (1), and then Select "Fault Code Information" items (2). Accordance with the type of detail of "Fault Code Information", Must be checked.	Fig.1

Active Fault

Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or Control module's connector or was repaired and Control module's memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "SYSTEM INSPECTION " procedure.
If the DTC is erased, check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace SCC (FCA) and then go to "SYSTEM INSPECTION " memory was not cleared. Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
* In a case of replacing SCC (FCA) module, require to set the "Variant Coding" by KDS.

History/Pending Fault

This fault was repaired and SCC (FCA) module memory was not cleared. Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
