DTC Description

In order to make normal activation of airbag system, Supplemental Restraints System Control Module (SRSCM) monitors the OCS.

If the seat is occupied, body sensor detects how passenger weighs and send signal to SRSCM via CAN. The SRSCM recognizes the signal as three different classifications; that is, 0 (Empty), 1 (Small), 2 (Large). With these signal, SRSCM determines whether it needs to deploy Passenger Airbag (PAB) or not.
