CHARGING SYSTEM INSPECTION CONDITION

Shift lever position "P" & Ignition "ON"/"READY". ("READY" lamp ON in Instrument cluster) Start the engine and turn the headlight, rear window defogger and all other electrical devices. Measure voltage between (+) terminal and (-) terminal of battery while maintaining engine RPM at 2500 RPM	Battery	+ Terminal	Battery	- Terminal	9Vto 16V

IBAU CIRCUIT INSPECTION CONDITION

Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component. Ignition "ON".	IBAU Connector	1 (Memory power)	Chassis ground	-	B+

		14 (ground)		-	Approx. below 1Ω
		46 (ground)		-	Approx. below 1Ω

Good

Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.

No Good

Repair open or short in circuit and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
