DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Internal monitoring
  • Excessive wear on brake pad
  • Wrong air-gap between brake pad and disc
  • Faulty brake wheel cylinder
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • When the calculated temperature of disc is greater than 500°C (932°F)
  • If the calculated temperature is greater than 650°C (1202°F) when DBC switch is ON condition.
  • If the calculated temperature is greater than 500°C (932°F) when SCC switch is ON condition.
Warning Lamp
  • -
Disable Condition
  • If the calculated temperature is less than 400°C (752°F).
