Squib Circuit Inspection

NOTE:

If dummy and dummy adaptor are not able to be prepared, use a known-good anchor DAPT or 2Ω resistor.

Ignition "OFF".
Disconnect the auxiliary battery (-) terminal cable from the battery and wait at least one minute.
Disconnect anchor DAPT module and connect the dummy and dummy adapter to main connector.
Connect (-) terminal cable to battery and ignition "ON" and wait for 30 seconds or more.
Connect KDS to Data Link Connector (DLC) and clear DTC with KDS and diagnose again.
Are any DTCs stored in the system?
Good
- Go to "Main harness Circuit Inspection" procedure.
No Good
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If problem still occurs, replace anchor DAPT module and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

If problem still occurs, replace SRSCM main harness and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
