Component Inspection
- Ignition "OFF".
- Shift lever position "P" and Ignition "ON"/"READY" ("READY" lamp ON in Instrument cluster)
- Connect KDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode.
- Using a KDS, Clear DTC.
- Operate the vehicle within DTC Detecting Condition in General Information.
- Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode again.
- Is the same DTC stored in the system?
Inspection Condition Inspection Procedure Reference - Ignition "ON".
- Connect KDS to "Data Link Connector (DLC)".
- Perform "Assembly Check (ECU replacement)" in "Vehicle S/W management" with KDS.
Fig.1 to 4 Good
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors and DTC still occurs, replace the EPB ECU and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
No Good
- Repair open or short in circuit and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
