DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

If invalid wheel signal is received for more than 200 ms, EPB ECU sets DTC C164202.



Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN Message Monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty CAN communication circuit
  • Faulty IBAU
Threshold Value
  • The invalid wheel signal message is received during 200 ms
  • The fault is not checked during 2s after the ignition turns on
Warning Lamp
  • Warning Lamp "ON"
Clear Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
