DTC C1625-00: CAN Time-Out ABS/ESC: General Description

The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) monitors the pressure of the tire. When the pressure drops below the predetermine pressure and temperature, the IBU-TPMS turns on the warning lamp to notify the driver. This system consists of IBU-TPMS and 4 TPMS sensors. The TPMS sensor is installed on each wheel rim, the communication from TPMS sensors is done via Radio Frequency (RF).

The IBU-TPMS uses the vehicle speed sensor signal for "Auto Learning" to decide if an error occurs and sets DTC.
