Circuit Inspection

Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component and A/C control module.
 Mode actuator connector 3 (defrost) A/C control module connector 11 (defrost) Approx. below 1Ω
Mode actuator connector 4 (vent) A/C control module connector 10 (vent) Approx. below 1Ω
Mode actuator connector 3 (defrost) Chassis ground - ∞ (infinity)Ω
Mode actuator connector 4 (vent) Chassis ground - ∞ (infinity)Ω

Good 

  1. Go to "Component Inspection " procedure.

No Good 

  1. Repair open or short in circuit and then go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.
