Circuit Inspection

Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  3. Ignition "ON".
 ECV connector 3 (+) Chassis ground - Approx. 0V
ECV connector 2 (-) Chassis ground - Approx. 0V
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component and A/C control module.
 ECV connector 3 (+) Chassis ground - ∞ (infinity)Ω
ECV connector 2 (-) Chassis ground - ∞ (infinity)Ω
ECV connector 3 (+) A/C control module (auto) connector 37 (+) Approx. below 1Ω
ECV connector 3 (+) A/C control module (manual) connector 29 (+) Approx. below 1Ω
ECV connector 2 (-) A/C control module (auto) connector 38 (-) Approx. below 1Ω
ECV connector 2 (-) A/C control module (manual) connector 30 (-) Approx. below 1Ω

Good 

  1. Go to "Component Inspection " procedure.

No Good 

  1. Repair open or short in circuit and then go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.
