DTC B1672-88: APT Sensor Fault - CAN Signal: General Description

The A/C Pressure Transducer (APT) sensor located on the high pressure line converts the pressure value into a voltage value. The ECM/PCM controls cooling fan operating speed to either high or low speed based on system pressure. The ECM/PCM stops the operation of A/C compressor when the pressure (APT voltage signal) of refrigerant line is too high or too low.
