DTC B1204-13: Air Mix Potentiometer Open (Low) - Passenger: General Description

The passenger temperature actuator (air mix potentiometer) located on the heater module, regulates the temperature signal from control unit by adjusting the position of temperature door based on operating temperature switch. The temperature will be regulated by the hot/cold air ratio decided based on the position of temperature door. The potentiometer signal sends the temperature door position value to A/C control module.
