DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal check
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open or short in CKPS circuit
  • Damaged to the connecting flange or flywheel
  • Misadjust crankshaft and camshaft pulley position
  • Faulty CKPS
Enable Conditions
  • Camshaft signal valid
Threshold Value Case1
  • Number of engine cycles with missing crankshaft signal is higher than 2
Case2
  • CKPS voltage is lower than 0.86V or higher than 2.86V
  • CKPS voltage amplitude is out of range for 0.2979 to 0.6496V
Diagnostic Time Case1
  • 4 revolutions

  • 2 driving cycles
