| DTC Strategy |
- Monitor the sensor signal
|
- Poor connector connection
- Faulty oil temperature sensor
- Faulty PCM
|
| Enable Condition |
Low temperature (case 1) |
- Battery voltage is higher than 10V
- Engine speed is higher than 900RPM
- Lever position in "D" or "Sports" (Forward gear)
- Oil temperature is higher than -10°C (14°F)
- Time out higher than 150s
- Secondary pulley speed is higher than 300RPM
|
| High temperature (case 2) |
- Battery voltage is higher than 10V
- Engine Speed is higher than 350RPM
- Oil temperature at previous Ignition "OFF" is higher than 90°C (194°F)
- Engine coolant temperature at previous Ignition "OFF" is higher than 90°C (194°F)
- Difference between temperature at ignition "ON" and temperature at previous ignition "OFF" is higher than 34°C (93.2°F)
- No CAN error
|
| Threshold Value |
Low temperature (case 1) |
- Oil temperature sensor is lower than 2°C (35.6°F)
