Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range check
  • Open in signal connector
  • Open in ground connector
  • Poor connection or damaged connector
  • Faulty HO2S
Enable Conditions
  • O2 Sensor operative readiness
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10V and lower than 16V
Threshold Value
  • Downstream O2 sensor element resistance is higher than 24kΩ
Diagnostic Time
  • 2s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
