DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal check, high
  • Poor connector connection
  • Signal circuit open or short to battery
  • Open in signal or ground circuit
  • Faulty ECT sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is higher than 6V and lower than 16V
  • IAT is higher than -30°C (-22°F)
  • If IAT is less than -30°C (-22°F). Then time after start is higher than 60s
Threshold Value
  • ECT sensor voltage higher than 4.85V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously (2.5s/recurrence 100ms)
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
