Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component. Ignition "ON".	FTPS connector	1 (power)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 5V

	FTPS connector	2 (ground)	Chassis ground	-	0V
Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.	FTPS connector	3 (signal)	Chassis ground		∞ (infinity)Ω
	FTPS connector	2 (ground)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. below 1Ω

Good

If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the FTPS and go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.

No Good

Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.
