DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring Fuel Tank Pressure During Evacuation
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty fuel filler cap
  • Leaking disconnected or plugged fuel vapor lines
  • Faulty CCV
  • Faulty PCSV
  • Faulty Canister
  • Faulty FTPS
Enable Condition
  • Engine coolant temperature higher than 50°C (122°F)
  • Ambient air temperature model higher than -10°C (14°F)
  • Vehicle speed lower than 12km/h(7.5mph)
  • Fuel level less than 85%
  • Barometric pressure higher than 75kPa
  • Canister load less than 0.35
  • Minimum canister purge time more than 3s in case of canister load less than or equal to 0.15
  • Minimum canister purge time more than 20s in case of canister load more than or equal to 0.15
  • Engine idle
  • Pedal value less than 0.01%(Pedal sensor 1 voltage 0.859V, not pushed at all)
  • Differential fuel tank pressure is greater than -1100 Pa and less than 400Pa
  • Minimum drive time check done one time since engine start (vehicle speed higher than 24km/h (14mph) during 90s)
  • 320s since last EVAP monitoring test abortion
  • Modeled Ambient Pressure gradient during uphill driving lower than 1.08psi(0.075bar)
  • Time elapse in case of refueling identification is greater than 600s
  • Battery voltage higher than 10V
Threshold Value
  • 20s or more to generate a pressure -0.22psi(-0.015bar) in fuel tank
Diagnostic Time
  • 25s
