Inspection Procedure

- Canister inspection
- Cracks or leakage on canister.
- Loose connection, distortion, or damage of the vapor hose/tube.
- Fuel filler cap inspection
- Visually and/or physically inspect following conditions
- Cracks or damages on fuel filler cap.
- Proper installation of fuel filler cap.
- Correct type of fuel filler cap.
- Visually and/or physically inspect following conditions
- Fuel tank leakage inspection
- Visually and/or physically inspect following conditions
- Cracks or damages on fuel tank.
- Visually and/or physically inspect following conditions
Good
- Fault might be intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and control module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.
- Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.
No Good
- Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.
