Circuit Inspection

Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  3. Ignition "ON".
 ECM/PCM 4, 7, 29 (power) - ECM 41, 64, 75, 85 (power) -PCM Chassis ground - B+
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
 ECM/PCM 1, 2, 3 (ground) -ECM 1, 2, 4 (ground) -PCM Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "ON".
 ECM/PCM 85 (P-CAN high) - ECM 77 (P-CAN high) - PCM Chassis ground - Fig.1
ECM/PCM 63 (P-CAN low) - ECM 60 (P-CAN low) - PCM Chassis ground -
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
 ICU 12 (P-CAN high) ICU 11 (P-CAN low) Approx. 60Ω
ECM/PCM 85 (P-CAN high) - ECM 77 (P-CAN high) - PCM ECM/PCM 63 (P-CAN low) - ECM 60 (P-CAN low) - PCM Approx. 60Ω
ICU 12 (P-CAN high) ECM/PCM 85 (P-CAN high) - ECM 77 (P-CAN high) - PCM Approx below 1Ω
ICU 11 (P-CAN low) ECM/PCM 63 (P-CAN low) - ECM 60 (P-CAN low) - PCM Approx below 1Ω
