DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check ECU H/W
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short or open in C-CAN line
  • Short circuit between CAN high and low line
  • Faulty control modules that connected to C-CAN
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Battery voltage 9 to 16V
Threshold Value
  • C-CAN message is not received
Detecting Time
  • 3s
Warning Lamp
  • Warning lamp "ON"
Symptom
  • MDPS warning lamp "ON"
Fail Safe
  • 80km/h (50MPH) mode
Service Lamp "ON" Condition
  • CAN bus off for more than 0.8s
Service Lamp "OFF" Condition
  • Immediately when CAN bus off condition is removed
Disable Condition
  • Immediately when CAN bus off condition is removed
