DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check the CAN Communication
  • Check the option information and performance do cluster
  • Perform CLU coding procedure
  • Check the CAN line
  • Check the CLU
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Read the DTC
Threshold Value
  • If the M-CAN receive error count over 255 times
Detecting Time
  • 2s
DTC Erasing
  • When the message is received normally
  • Ignition "OFF" → "ON" (DTC resets and error frame recounts)
  • No DTC history remains
