Circuit Inspection

Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect injector #3 connector.
  3. Ignition "ON".
 Injector #3 connector 2 (power) Chassis ground - Approx. 12V
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect injector #3 connector.
  3. Ignition "ON".
 Injector #3 connector 1 (control) Chassis ground - Approx. 5.76V
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
 Injector #3 connector 1 (control) Injector #3 connector 2 (power) ∞ (infinity)Ω

Good 

  1. Go to "Component Inspection " procedure.

No Good 

  1. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.
