Injector Resistance Inspection

Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect injector connector.
 Injector connector (component side) 1 (high) Injector connector (component side) 2 (low) Approx. 14.5Ω (20°C (68°F))

Good 

  1. Go to "Fuel System Inspection " procedure.

No Good 

  1. Check injector for contamination, deterioration, or damage. Substitute with a known-good injector and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace injector and then go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.
CAUTION:
  • Install the component with the specified torques.
  • Note that internal damage may occur when the component is dropped or mis-treated.
CAUTION:
  • Insert the sensor in the installation hole and be careful not to damage.
