DTC Strategy
  • Signal plausibility with rich mixture (During catalyst purge after fuel cut-off)
  • Poor connection or damaged connector
  • HO2S contamination
Enable Conditions
  • Downstream O2 sensor operative readiness detected
  • Integrated mass air flow since fuel cut-off begin is at between 12 and 250g
  • Integrated mass air flow in last fuel cut-off higher than 500g
  • Battery voltage is at between 11 and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Downstream HO2S higher than 0.2V during fuel cut-off phase
Diagnostic Time
  • 2.5s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
