Thermostat Inspection

  1. Check if the thermostat bypass valve is stuck in the open position or if the correct type of thermostat was installed.
  2. Check the valve opening temperature of the thermostat

    Specification: 

    Valve opening temperature: 93 to 97°C (199.4 to 206.6°F)/Full opening temperature: 110°C (230°F)

  3. Is the thermostat in normal condition?

Good 

  1. Go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.

No Good 

  1. Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
  2. If problem still occurs, replace thermostat and then go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.
