DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Transition time monitor (lean to rich)
  • Poor connector connection
  • HO2S (Bank 1, Sensor 2)
  • ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is greater than 10.7V
  • Engine speed is between 1200 and 3520 RPM
  • EGT around ROS (model) is greater than 425°C (797°F)
  • Exhaust gas mass flow 22kg/h
  • Change amount of exhaust gas mass flow is between -30 and 50kg/h
  • Fuel system status is fuel cut-off
  • ROS voltage is greater than 0.63V (before fuel cut-in)
Threshold Value
  • Transition time (average) is greater than 2.2s
Diagnostic Time
  • 2 valid fuel cut-in phases (once per driving cycle)
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
