DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check ECT, IAT, AAT correlation monitor at cold condition
  • Poor connector connection
  • ECTS
Enable Conditions
  • Soaking time engine stop for more than 5hr at ECT 0°C (32°F)
  • Soaking time engine stop for more than 6hr at ECT 90°C (194°F)
  • Not detected block heater
Threshold Value
  • Absolute value of difference between ECT and IAT at start is greater than 20°C (68°F)
Diagnostic Time
  • 100ms (once per driving cycle)
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
