Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA)

  1. RCCA activation condition
    1. RCCA on/off: On (Be able to turned on/off using the user setting menu on cluster)
    2. Shift lever position: R range
    3. Vehicle speed: -10 to 0 km/h (-6 to 0 mile/h)
    4. Relative vehicle speed: 4 - 36 km/h (4 - 22mile/h)
    5. Operating distance: 0.5 - 20 m
  2. Warning zone

    1. Conditions for collision avoidance assist ON
      1. Conditions: Shift lever "R" selection & 10 km/h or lower vehicle speed, 4 - 36 km/h (4 - 22 mile/h) relative vehicle speed, Distance 0.5 - 20 m
      2. A warning is generated for the target vehicle if it is within 2.1 - 3.5 seconds based on TTC (Time to Collision) when entering target vehicle is located warning zone.
      3. Braking happens for the target vehicle within 2 seconds based on TTC (time to collision).
