DTC P1698: Immobilizer-Invalid TP (TP Has Different PIN): General Description

Immobilizer (IMMO): A security device that permits vehicle to start only when the password code of key (transponder)/IMMO/EMS matches with each other to prevent vehicle theft.
Occurs when the "Learnt Key" that is not registered in the "IMMO ECU" is recognized when wireless security authentication with "IMMO ECU" and "Key (TP)" is performed.
Invaild TP can not start the engine.
