Removal And Installation

- Remove the drive belt.
(Refer to Drive belt System - "DRIVE BELT ")
- Loosen the alternator upper mounting bolt (A).
Tightening torque:
26.5 - 37.3 N.m (2.7 - 3.8 kgf.m, 19.5 - 27.5 lb.ft) [10T Type]
24.3 - 26.9 N.m (2.48 - 2.74 kgf.m, 17.9 - 19.8 lb.ft) [8T Type]
- Loosen the adjusting bolt (B).
- Remove the alternator bracket (C).
Tightening torque:
24.3 - 26.9 N.m (2.48 - 2.74 kgf.m, 17.9 - 19.8 lb.ft)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- After installing the alternator bracket, adjust the drive belt tension by tightening adjusting bolt.
