DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN communication check
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short in CAN high line
  • Short in CAN low line
  • Short circuit between CAN high and low line
  • Faulty modules that connected to CAN
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is higher than 32 RPM
  • Battery voltage higher than 10V
  • Time after ignition "ON" is higher than 0.5s
Threshold Value
  • Wrong messages received by PCM
Diagnostic Time
  • 2.5s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
