DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • The BPS rationality diagnostic compares the difference between BPS output and calculated value to a calibration value
  • Poor connection
  • Faulty PCM
DTC Strategy Case1
  • Engine RPM is lower than 32 RPM (Engine stopped)
  • Barometric pressure is between 400hPa and 1150hPa
  • MAP sensor voltage is between 0.2V and 4.8V
Case2
  • Engine RPM is higher than 32 RPM (Engine running)
Threshold Value Case1
  • Deviation between barometric pressure and intake air pressure is higher than 10kPa
Case2
  • Deviation between actual intake air pressure and model intake air pressure is higher than 20kPa and lower than -20kPa
