DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open in CAN line between ESC and TCM
  • Faulty TCM
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • No related DTC is stored
Threshold Value
  • TCU CAN message is not received for more than specific times continuously
  • Specific times: control in progress = 50 times
  • Specific times: no control in progress = 150 times
Detecting Time
  • 500ms
Disable Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
Warning Lamp
  • ESC warning lamp "ON"
