DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty MDPS unit
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • No network bus off condition
Threshold Value
  • Abnormal MDPS CAN message received for more than specific times continuously
  • Specific time: control in progress = 10 times
  • Specific time: no control in progress = 30 times
Disable Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
