DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short or open in P-CAN line between ESC and ECM/PCM
  • Faulty ECM/PCM
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • EMS CAN message is not received for more than specific time continuously
    • Specific time: 2s
  • Error signal in EMS CAN message is for more than specific times continuously
  • Specific times: control in progress = 20 times
  • Specific times: no control in progress = 60 times
Warning Lamp
  • -
Disable Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
