DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open in C-CAN line between ESC and TCM
  • Faulty TCM
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • No related DTC is stored
Threshold Value Case1
  • TCM message (TCU11) is not received for more than specific time continuously
  • Specific time: control in progress = 500ms
  • Specific time: no control = 1500m
Case2
  • TCM message (TCU13) is not received for more than specific time continuously
  • Specific time: control in progress = 500ms
  • Specific time: no control = 1500m
Disable Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
Warning Lamp Case1
  • ESC/DBC/AVH/EPB warning lamp "ON"
Case2
  • ESC(ESP) warning lamp "ON"
