Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION: Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

Information

When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

Remove the front seat assembly.
(Refer to Front Seat - "FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY ")
Remove the front seat lower protector (A).

Remove the front seat shield outer cover (A) by pulling forward in the direction of the arrow using screw driver or remover.

Disconnect the front seat power switch connector (A).

NOTE: Be careful not to damage the mounting bracket and hook when removing the cover.
To install, reverse removal procedure.
Information

Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
