DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy Case 1
  • Voltage range check (short to battery)
  • Poor connection
  • Short to power in signal circuit
  • Open in ground circuit
  • MAPS
Case 2
  • Voltage range check (Open in ground circuit)
Enable Conditions Case 1
  • Battery voltage is higher than 11V and lower than 16V
Case 2
  • Engine speed during engine start higher than 640 to 960 RPM (Engine operating state out of engine start)
  • Battery voltage is higher than 11V and lower than 16V
  • Throttle opening is higher than 6 to 34% (versus engine speed)
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Sensor voltage is higher than 4.85V
Case 2
  • Sensor voltage is higher than 4.35V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously (2s/recurrence 10 ms)
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
